A calorie tracker for wedding parties
The dress has a deadline.
The diet has a group.
WedCut is the calorie-tracker built around your wedding party and your wedding date. We do the maths. Your group does the rest.
Why WedCut is different
What makes WedCut different from other calorie trackers?
WedCut is built around two things a normal calorie tracker doesn’t have: a fixed wedding date, and the group of people already going to that wedding. Instead of tracking alone against an open-ended goal, you count down to a real deadline alongside your wedding party — with private targets, no streaks, and no AI coach. Three ideas carry the whole app.
The deadline does the work
Your wedding has a date. So does your diet. WedCut knows when your wedding is, when your dress fitting is, when your wedding party flies in. Every screen counts down to the day. The deadline is the most honest motivator any of us has.
The group is the coach
Not an AI. Not a chatbot. Not a stranger. Your wedding party joins your private group, and they're the ones who notice when you've logged seven days in a row — and who stay quiet on the weeks you don't. The people who'll be in the photos with you are the only coaches you need.
The bad day doesn't end the run
You will miss a Tuesday. You will eat the leftover cake on a Thursday. That's not a moral failing — it's just a Tuesday. WedCut has no streak counter to break. When you come back, we say welcome back. Because we assume you'll come back.
How it works
How do you get started with WedCut?
Getting started takes about a minute. Download the app, enter your wedding date, and set your own goal — or choose “supporting, no weight goal”. Then send one invite link to your wedding party. Each person sets their own targets, every privacy setting defaults to off, and the countdown starts. Three steps, about a minute each.
Set the date
Open WedCut, enter your wedding date, set your own goal — or "supporting, no weight goal" if that's you. Done in 60 seconds.
Invite your party
Send one link to your maid of honour, your bridesmaids, your sister, your cousin, whoever. Each person sets her own goal. Every privacy setting defaults to off.
Log together, get to the aisle
Log food, log weight when you want, and share only what each person chooses with the group. The countdown does the rest.

What does WedCut actually look like?
WedCut is a calorie tracker with a wedding date at its centre and your wedding party alongside you. The short video below shows the idea; there are more on our YouTube channel.
WedCut vs a typical calorie tracker
How is WedCut different from an app like a standard calorie counter?
A standard calorie tracker is built for one person with an open-ended goal, and it uses streaks to keep you coming back. WedCut is built for a group with a fixed date, and it deliberately has no streaks. The table below is the short version.
| A typical calorie tracker | WedCut | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it’s for | One person, tracking alone | You and your wedding party, together |
| The goal | Open-ended — “lose weight” | A fixed wedding date to count down to |
| Missing a day | Breaks your streak | Nothing breaks — there are no streaks |
| Who sees your numbers | Often shared or public by default | Private by default; you choose what to share |
| Support | An AI coach or a feed of strangers | The people already coming to your wedding |
| Paying for the group | Everyone buys their own | One Group Pass can cover the whole party |
Common questions
Frequently asked questions about WedCut
The short answers are below. There are more on the full FAQ page, and we write about the thinking behind the app on the WedCut blog.
What is WedCut?
WedCut is a calorie-tracking and group-accountability app for brides, grooms and their wedding parties. You set your wedding date, invite your party, and everyone logs against their own private targets while counting down to the same day.
Is WedCut free?
WedCut is free to download and free to start. When you’re ready there are two paid options: WedCut Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription for one person that begins with a 30-day free trial, or the Group Pass, a one-time purchase covering your whole party through 90 days after the wedding.
Can my wedding party see my weight?
No. Every privacy setting defaults to off. No one in the group — including whoever set it up — can see your weight, calorie target or logged meals unless you choose to share them.
Does WedCut use streaks?
No. Missing a day doesn’t reset anything or end your plan. Wedding planning is chaotic, and a tracker that punishes you for a bad day is the one you delete in week three.
Is WedCut available on Android?
Not yet. WedCut is live on the iOS App Store today, and an Android version is in testing. See the full FAQ for more detail.
